Just got the app and went online to register the account. I had fun on both, but so far Im loving my app. Lots of older shows and movies which I enjoy best, so many choices!! ?❤️???

Ive not read others reviews, just leaving my own. Had this app about a year now. Works great for when Im trying to see what show/ movie is playing where. Much better than flipping through Netflix, Hulu, Amazon...

If you need to figure out where you can watch some particular show, those app does a solid job. Recommended.

The app is good if you dont want to go thru so many movie and tv apps to find out whats trending or if your favorite show is now available at different platforms. FanTV is short of becoming Plex in content, FanTV has all the great parts of Interface and availability of show to what app but if it can also serve as a media player for my stored movies, thats where I see this app soaring. Build it and they will come!

Some bad moments

Opened the app and tried to paste a long movie title in the search, but the app designers decided that their super-hip design was too precious and didnt need basic, universal functionality like that. A minor flaw, but it is enough of a red flag about their approach to usability that I dont really want to spend time trying to work in an app whose designers are so navel-gazing over their work that common conventions get thrown out the window. Hey guys, pull out of your app and look sound, the rest of us live in a larger world of shared conventions.

Just tried multiple movies clearly streaming on Amazon, Netflix and Hulu - and it never showed anything but the "rental" options - clearly false results, no longer a viable app

I dont know which update made the app fall apart but the daily activity feed stopped working, months ago. Ive had to start relying on getting the emails but even those are buggy...sometimes images dont load or they keep emailing the same programs as, now, being available. Just need the basic features to work so that I can quickly identify which shows and movies are available for viewing! Ive started going into the individual apps to find programming. Ready to delete since FanTV is not convenient, anymore.

I tried this app on my iPhone, and on Apple TV. Searching on the Apple TV does not use the remote keyboard, which makes it horrible to enter names. Cant mark seasons as watched, search does not return results from all services. It is more efficient to search each app individually. I actually think the built in TV app works better, and I am shocked I am saying that, because it is HORRIBLE!

First-black background makes it very difficult to use. Second-the screen layout seems to have been designed by someone drunk or on drugs (or both). Third- the AppleTV app doesnt allow the use of the Remote app to enter the password. Could be useful but its currently poor.

I read the reviews about how bad the UI is but decided to at least take a look. Haha! Its worse than I even imagined. And on the Apple TV its nearly unusable. What a joke. Did a five year old design the UI? And it doesnt even work that well. Try searching for the CBS show Survivor. Pretty well-known show right? Fairly popular? If you search for the word "survivor" you will get about 100 shows with the word survivor it but not the CBS series Survivor. If you do find a series you like it is so clunky getting around to add it to your watchlist or find episodes that its pretty much not worth it. I regret even giving them my email address.
